DRIP DRIP DRIP

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have noticed that I do plenty of cakes with 'drips' down the side of the cake. Whether it be caramel or ganache, my cakes feature drips regularly. 

I've been asked by several people - 'HOW DO YOU GET THE DRIPS SO PERFECT?'  'HOW DO YOU GET THE DRIPS TO DO WHAT YOU WANT?' 

God if only I could get the drips to do what I want. 

Well, I'm about to share my secret. And you'll probably die when I tell you how I get my drips so perfect. Simply because it's so easy. 

You will need -

1 x squeezy ketchup bottle - you can buy them at the $2 store

Simple turn the bottle upside down onto the edge of your cake and gently squeeze to release your sauce. I use a turn table to decorate my cakes so I spin the cake around so all the sauce is 'linked' together at the top of the cake. 

I use this method EVERY SINGLE TIME I put drips on my cake and it never fails. The trick is not squeezing too much sauce out - because you can't take it back once it's on your cake! Small squeezes is key here people!
